Hi everyone! Recently I bought the HUP Office then I installed on my windows 10 then the windows 10 crash a malware thing: slow machine and no internet connection with network issues. Right now I have to re-install windows 10 via recovery option.
The question is: Do I have to do something to uninstall office to later install on the new windows? My Office Key still works if I do so?

An email with a link to access my order history was sent to my work address. I waited for a week, and then tried several more times to access the HUP website via the link in the email from Microsoft. I finally called Microsoft, and after two hours on the phone, the Microsoft reps could not figure out the problem. A rep finally installed the program on my computer via remote access.
However, this installation was faulty, and I needed to reinstall the software. This was such a headache, I decided to purchase the backup media disk to avoid having to download the program again. The backup media disk arrived, and I went to uninstall the faulty Office and re-install with my backup media disk. I open the disk package, and it states that I need a product key to install Office The original email from Microsoft when I ordered the download does not have the product key.
As such, I need to request my order history from Microsoft. Arrr, once again I am back to where I started – there is NO way to access order history from Microsoft no matter how many times I request my order history. Doe anyone know how to successfully access an order history from Microsoft? That is not the problem. The problem is the email I receive from Microsoft after I request the order history from the above-list site–the web link in that email does not work and it has not worked for the past three weeks.

Thank you for the information. However, the directions provided are only for the general download of Microsoft products. I purchased Office through the Home Use Program, and the directions for accessing the product key and download information are different. I’ve requested my order history multiple times and tried the link on several computers and portable devices. The link does not work; therefore, I cannot access my order history to download the software or product key.
The error is with Microsoft, and it has been this way for more than three weeks. Their phone support folks seem to have no idea how to address this problem. Sorry, there is not much we can do to help with MS web site issues. All I can suggest is you keep trying HUP support until you find a competent tech there who can help you good luck with that That is where the technically competent support staff hide. Also, Microsoft provides complete service status history so that you can find out what issues have happened in the past and when they were fixed. If you want someone at Microsoft to speak with you about your issue, then your best chance is to use Twitter.

I have no way to install the software without the product key. As single individuals we are pretty powerless. They have large audiences and companies want to avoid bad press.
When a well-known loud mouth media personality exposes bad customer service it can have a big, negative, long term effect on the company.
So it is easier and cheaper, and better PR, to simply give the customer anything to get them to go away. Sorry, there is no good answer to that. If you, and all the others with this problem start tweeting it, making it more public, maybe then MS will finally be inspired to find the fix to the problem. I turned to the chat support offered on Microsoft. The rep said he might need access to my computer. I balked at that because the issue was on multiple devices and seemed to me to be clearly related to the account. My response from their reps was almost immediate.
I also looked over their accounts for others reporting the same issue. The next morning, I received a Tweet from one of the people who was having the same issue. His OneDrive was working and so was mine. Three days later I received a confirmation e-mail for that Office support ticket. If you have a case number from the previous technical support, you may provide it here so that we can further check your issue.
